
Cindy screens Peter’s calls, not knowing who to trust following last week’s incident. Reiss delivers another blow when he asks Cindy to find a new place to stay.
Peter continues to stress about his mum’s wellbeing, and snaps at Kathy. Later, Ian goes to No. 25 to talk to Cindy. After a heartfelt conversation, he persuades her to leave the house and head to The Vic, but Elaine, George, and Gina make it clear that she isn’t welcome there.
Meanwhile, Martin, Jack and Reiss head to the court to support Sonia, but it’s not long before things get out of hand when Reiss makes a scene which has huge consequences. Wanting to do what’s best for her unborn child, Sonia makes a decision.
Elsewhere, Martin calls a meeting with the council about the market. Ruby reveals that Roman is to be discharged from hospital, but it’s clear Martin is distracted and has taken on too much.
Also, Jack and Denise continue to hide their feelings from one another.

As Roy tells the court that Lauren is a kind and caring person, Brie jumps up in the public gallery sporting a sling claiming Lauren attacked her in the prison. A horrified Lauren assures her barrister she did no such thing.
Lauren’s barrister tells her that Frankie is not well and has been taken to hospital. Upset that she is stuck in court and can’t go to her son, Lauren tells the prosecution barrister during Max’s cross examination that she is glad Joel is dead. Has she caused herself more problems?
Later at the hospital, Lauren informs Max that Frankie’s fighting an infection. Certain she’s going to prison; Lauren regrets losing her temper in court and tells Max that she doesn’t care about the trial and the only thing that matters to her is Frankie getting better.
Meanwhile, Daniel tells Daisy he wants her to do a DNA test as he needs to know if the baby is his. Daisy books the DNA test and insists Daniel go with her. Arriving back at The Rovers, Daisy’s appalled to find Jenny has bagged up lots of her stuff to sell as they need cash to give to Carla and that Bethany bought her designer handbag.
Bethany calls the magazine in London and asks them if the job is still available. Later, Daniel is blindsided as Bethany admits she’s accepted the job in London and wants him to consider a trial move.
Elsewhere, Toyah overhears Roy and Kevin talking about Abi. Abi plays down Roy’s concerns to Kevin, but when Toyah suggests she see a grief counsellor, Abi is furious and accuses her of trying to steal Alfie. Leanne and Tracy enjoy watching Toyah getting grief from Abi.
Also, Leanne gives Amy a cheque for £12k from Les’s compensation money.
Carla returns home from hospital and Lisa promises her she’s going to look after her.

Chas learns that Nicola has left Angelica on her own with Anthony. She lets Nicola know that Angelica is not safe around him.
Nicola arrives home and ends the tutoring session, telling Anthony she’s heard he’s a danger to children. It doesn’t take long for Anthony’s panic to turn into a flash of anger. Things turn physically threatening for Nicola until Laurel dramatically intervenes, leaving Anthony unconscious.
Meanwhile, Cain does his best to get Chas to open up. He’s left shocked when Chas reveals a horrifying truth.
Elsewhere, Dawn agrees to work at home Farm but learns Joe is her new boss and is suspicious he’s orchestrated the whole thing.
Joe and Kim chat in the graveyard and he sees that she genuinely misses Graham. Her grief over Will remains raw but she feels bolstered by Joe’s support.
