“Exploring the most anticipated TV shows in the UK for 2025—both new seasons of existing hits and brand-new series—offers an interesting look into the tastes and cultural landscape of British audiences. The mix of excitement for new seasons versus new shows highlights how much audiences value familiarity compared to innovative storytelling.
“British fans value the shared experience of watching and discussing TV shows, both online and offline. Anticipation is as much about the communal dialogue as it is about the show itself.”
