The Beale family joins the Knights for Christmas dinner at The Vic, but chaos erupts when the truth about Cindy’s recent actions comes to light.
Meanwhile, Sharon stops by No.55 to drop off a gift from Albie for Phil, but it’s obvious he’s not in a good place. The situation becomes even more awkward when Phil joins the Mitchell family dinner at No.1, only to leave abruptly after witnessing a tender moment between Sharon and Teddy.
Elsewhere, Ravi makes a quick visit to No.20 to deliver a present from Avani to Denise. Later, Jack and Amy show up just before the family heads to The Vic, and it’s evident that Denise has feelings for both Jack and Ravi, who seem to feel the same way.
Also, the Slaters prepare for a family meal at No.31, but Stacey is put out when Ruby arrives.

When opening Christmas presents, David becomes suspicious of Shona when he doesn’t unwrap the aftershave he found in Shona’s bag. When Adam calls round wreaking of aftershave, explaining it was a Christmas present, David is more suspicious. Insisting that Adam joins him for a birthday drink, what does David have planned?
Adam knocks back whisky; unaware David is drinking water. Shona and Sarah arrive to hear David accusing Adam of sleeping with Shona behind his back. A row ensues and Adam tumbles down the stairs.
Meanwhile, Toyah arrives in the Bistro to help Nick set up for Gail and Jesse’s wedding, explaining that Leanne has lifted her ban for the occasion. As guests arrive, the police show up and tell Nick and Toyah that they need to ask them some questions on a fraud allegation. As Kit shows Nick the account from TLH Holdings, Nick assures Kit he’s never seen them before. At the station, a row with Toyah and Leanne escalates into a fight and Max films it.
Elsewhere, finding Bethany dressed to the nines, Daniel is delighted to see her looking like her old self. When Bethany gifts Daniel an expensive vintage watch, he seems underwhelmed and an upset Bethany confronts Daniel, convinced that he doesn’t want to be with her anymore.
Daniel assures her she couldn’t be more wrong and, getting down on one knee, asks her to marry him. Has he done enough to convince her?
Coronation Street, ITV1, Christmas Day at 7pm
It’s Christmas Day in the village and Belle visits the grave of her late father Zak. Belle is delighted when Piper rushes over to her after being found by Vinny and Gabby.
Meanwhile, in a sinister flashforward scene at Home Farm, creepy Christmas music plays. A Christmas tree lays on the ground and evidence of a struggle surrounds it. Is this connected to Will’s revenge?
Elsewhere, Marlon faces a shock of his own.
Also, Mill Cottage has plenty of guests for Christmas dinner.
