Cindy piles the pressure on Lauren, while Peter confides in Ian about Lauren’s mood swings. Ian suggests that he should cheer her up by proposing, as it will show that he has put his past mistakes behind him and is fully committed to her.
Meanwhile, George tells Lauren about Kojo’s reluctance to talk about the accident. Lauren tries to get Kojo to open up about what happened, hoping to gain leverage over Cindy.
Later, Cindy reluctantly gives Lauren more pills. At home alone with Louie, Lauren takes the pills and slips into unconsciousness, unaware that a candle has fallen and set fire to the flat.
Elsewhere, Stacey and Martin are both confused by the kiss. Zack tells Martin to concentrate on Roman and Ruby, while Jean urges Stacey to be honest about her feelings for Martin.
Also, Avani convinces Denise to let her have a casual job in the salon. Jack tells Denise that there’s been a suspected sighting of Nish by an anonymous caller. Avani and Denise are confronted at the salon by two masked men who say that they have been sent by Nish.
