Classic FM will celebrate the biggest blockbuster movie hits of all time with a spectacular new concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall…
The first ever Classic FM Live at the Movies with Viking follows the launch of Classic FM’s new sister station Classic FM Movies, in September, which plays the world’s greatest film music 24/7.
Classic FM Live at the Movies will feature the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra – an official partner of Classic FM – conducted by Anthony Gabriele, with special performances from a line-up of world-class musicians.
Hosted by Classic FM presenters, the evening will be packed with the best movie themes including Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Mission: Impossible, The Lord of the Rings, and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Dramatic lights and fireworks will accompany the musicians in a stunning finale.
“The concert is sponsored by one of Classic FM’s long-term partners, Viking a global leader in experiential travel which provides destination-focused journeys on rivers, oceans and lakes around the world.” – Global
The event will be recorded for broadcast on Classic FM and Global Player on Friday 25th April at 7pm, and later in the year on Sky Arts.
