Danny Jones Leads the Betting as Early Favourite for I’m A Celebrity Crown…
After the first episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! aired last night, betting markets and Oddschecker data show Danny Jones emerging as the clear favourite to win the series. The McFly guitarist is priced at 2/1 to be crowned King of the Jungle and is also the most popular pick with Oddschecker bettors, receiving 29.8% of all bets placed so far.
Historically, Oddschecker punters have correctly picked the winner in three out of the last four seasons, adding further weight to Jones’ early popularity.

“Danny Jones has emerged as a strong early favourite following Episode 1 of I’m A Celebrity. With 29.8% of bets backing him to win the competition, he’s clearly captured the public’s attention. Interestingly, Oddschecker punters have a solid track record of picking the winner, having correctly predicted the champion in three of the last four seasons. Coleen Rooney and GK Barry are also making their presence felt, with Rooney seeing her odds slashed from 9/1 to 7/1 after last night’s episode.
“As the competition progresses, it will be fascinating to see if early favourites like Danny Jones can maintain their momentum or if new contenders will rise in the betting markets.”
Second in the betting market is social media star GK Barry, who received public votes for the first bushtucker trial. Despite her odds drifting slightly from 4/1 to 5/1, she remains the second-favourite in the betting and has picked up 10.5% of total bets so far.
Coleen Rooney has also seen a significant spike in interest, ranking second in total bets placed with 13.3%. Her odds were cut from 9/1 to 7/1 following Episode 1. Rooney is also a standout in the Top Female betting market, where she is the 5/2 second favourite.
Current “camp leaders,” Alan Halsall and Tulisa, are priced at 7/1 and 14/1 respectively, with Tulisa receiving 7.7% of total bets.
