Charity event sees stars shine in ‘gothic glamour’

The fundraiser was to help autistic and disabled children…

The inaugural Halloween Moth Ball, supporting Caudwell Children, took place last night at 8 Northumberland Avenue. Celebrities donned gothic glamour to back the charity’s mission to ensure fairness for autistic and disabled children.

Heartstopper actor and autism advocate Bradley Riches, along with ‘My Mum, Your Dad‘ victors Jenny Francis and Danny Wright, joined forces with leading creatives, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists to raise a remarkable £76,160 for the cause.

The event featured a live auction conducted by former Olympic sprinter and motivational speaker Derek Redmond. Guests also savored a three-course meal and enjoyed an evening of gothic-themed immersive entertainment, orchestrated by the internationally acclaimed artistic group, Elan Artists.

The collaboration with the innovative, sustainable British rum brand, V Rum, which sponsored the event, contributed to the high spirits of the occasion. The proceeds from the event are earmarked to aid disabled and autistic children in the UK through Caudwell Children’s comprehensive services. This includes their pioneering autism assessment and support service, as well as the ‘Shaping Futures’ employability program for young disabled and neurodivergent individuals.
