Lorraine launches ‘WOW Project’ campaign

This morning on Lorraine, the eponymous host was joined by Bryony Gordon and Adele Roberts as she launched a brand-new campaign, the ‘WOW Project’, which encourages women to embrace their bodies, just as they are.

“It’s so important to see unfiltered, unphotoshopped bodies out there,” Bryony noted of her involvement.

“I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to stand in my underwear in public! It doesn’t matter what shape or size you are – there is something so powerful in seeing women be fearless and unapologetically themselves.”

Revealing her own battles with her body image, Lorraine said:

“I remember going on holiday one time and being pleased that it had rained because I didn’t have to show my body on the beach. How sad is that? And now I look back and I am ashamed of myself… I don’t think there is one of us that at some time hasn’t though ‘I am just not good enough’ or ‘I am just not beautiful enough’”

Throughout the week, the presenter will speak to Adele Roberts, Bryony Gordon and Ellie Simmonds OBE about how they found their ‘WOW’.
