Samantha Barks has a magical Disneyland Paris experience

Recently the actress embarked on an enchanted Disneyland Paris Family Getaway…

Samantha Barks, the acclaimed actress and singer renowned for her portrayal of Elsa in the West End production of Frozen The Musical, experienced a magical family getaway at Disneyland Paris last week, immersing herself in three days of enchantment at the renowned resort.

Ahead of setting off, Samantha shared her anticipation leading up to the trip: “This trip to Disneyland Paris has been much anticipated. I’ve been collecting Disney-themed treasures for the kids, organising treasure hunts, and planning surprises. My mum says she isn’t sure who’s more excited – me or the kids… (definitely me!)”

Accompanied by her sister Kim, their children, and their parents, Samantha reflected on the significance of the trip, saying: “For me and my sister, some of our most cherished memories stem from our childhood visits to Disneyland Paris with our parents. Having them join us now, alongside our own children, is incredibly special. Witnessing my sister’s girls and my baby boy Rafael creating memories together here is just pure magic!”

The excitement leading up to their stay was palpable, and their time at the opulent Disneyland Hotel provided the backdrop for countless unforgettable moments. “Staying at the Disneyland Hotel is a dream my niece and I have cherished since we first learned about the Elsa suite. We’ve watched endless videos showcasing the Princess-themed rooms, so our excitement has been off the charts,” she said.

Stepping into the splendour of Disneyland Hotel, Samantha Barks reflected: “The Disneyland Hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. Standing in the foyer gazing up at the chandelier fashioned in the likeness of the Disney castle, evoked a sense of magic and elegance that stirred feelings of nostalgia and emotion. My sister and I exchanged excited glances and squeezed each other’s arms out of excitement!”

Samantha and her family not only relished their stay at Disneyland Hotel but also fully embraced their visit to Disneyland Paris, immersing themselves in the resort’s array of shows and entertainment. Their days were filled with exhilarating attractions, exploration of immersive lands, and captivating shows such as The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands and Disney Stars on Parade.

Samantha and family were also among the first to catch the new show Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland, a wild and modern take on the timeless story of Alice in Wonderland. This unique musical extravaganza is presented in the newly unveiled Theater of the Stars at Walt Disney Studios Park and is running until 29 September 2024.

They also enjoyed attractions like the Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups and Dumbo the Flying Elephant and ventured to the Hero Training Center at Marvel Avengers Campus and attended the Disney Junior Dream Factory show, concluding each day with relaxation back at the Disneyland Hotel.

Expressing her eager anticipation for the upcoming Frozen-themed land, World of Frozen, Samantha stated: “I’m eagerly counting down the days until I can return to witness Arendelle in all its glory! I simply must reunite with my Arendelle family!” While launch dates are yet to be announced, the new immersive area will transport guests to the wintery world of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen, promising to transport guests on a journey to the kingdom of Arendelle with its vibrant facades and majestic North Mountain.
