The couple – like an Aldi version of Richard and Judy – have been married since 2010, and have one son called Jack and a dog. The couple have presented several programmes for Channel 5 including How The Other Half Lives, Do The Right Thing With Eamonn And Ruth and Eamonn And Ruth’s 7 Year Itch.
The pair were also regular Friday hosts of ITV’s This Morning while they also presented on their own with Ruth on ITV’s Loose Women and Eamonn a presenter on Sky News and more recently GB News.
Their parting of the ways was confirmed through a representative. A statement read: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.” The pair announced on Saturday, May 25, that they had decided to part ways after 14 years of marriage.
Holmes also has three children, Declan, Rebecca and Niall, from his first marriage.

Anne Robinson who has given her winking action to shows such as Countdown, Watchdog, Points of View and The Weakest Link has revealed that she has plans to avoid inheritance tax and ensure her family have access to her entire wealth when she dies.
Robinson revealed her tax avoidance plans, which are entirely legal, by gifting her family members most of her £50,000,000 wealth while she is alive – so they don’t have to pay tax on their inheritance when she passes. This clever way around the taxman shouldn’t be confused with illegal tax evasion. And while many celebrities have tried to avoid tax one way or another there is no law against gifting family any amount of money you like. It’s nice to see Anne has some good old-fashioned generosity going on.
‘I’ve given it all away. I don’t want the taxman to have it. I’ve spread it about quite a lot, to the children. They may as well enjoy it now,’ she told Saga magazine.

Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer Giovanni Pernice has said he is “surprised” by media reports about his teaching methods and rejects “any suggestion of abusive or threatening behaviour”.
BBC News reported that the professional dancer on the BBC One entertainment series was looking forward ‘to clearing his name.’ There has been mixed opinion on the recent revealations that some celebrity dancers partnered with Giovanni were not happy with his attitude towards them. Some suggest stars and their egos just couldn’t take his teaching style – perfectionists need zelebrities to perform. Others thought maybe there is more behind the headlines than meet the eye – either way until hard proof appears I’ll keep looking at Giovanni with admiration. I mean he can certainly move, and I admit is far better to look at than Russell Grant.
Legal firm Carter Ruck said it had contacted the BBC regarding “numerous serious complaints” about his alleged behaviour while filming Strictly. The BBC has not commented.
“Those who have followed my journey on Strictly Come Dancing over the last decade will know that I am passionate and competitive. No-one is more ambitious for my dance partners than me. I have always striven to help them be the very best dancers they can be. This has always come from a place of love and wanting to win – for me and my dance partners.” – Giovanni Pernice
