ITV has commissioned a second series of Fletcher’s Family Farm.
The popular show, which features actor Kelvin Fletcher, his wife Liz, and their children, will once again showcase their life on the family farm in the Peak District.
Kelvin, famous for his role as Andy Sugden in ITV’s Emmerdale for two decades from 1996 to 2016, said that he was “incredibly excited” for filming to resume, adding that the response to the first series has been “heartwarming and inspiring”.
Liz, who is a model, added that it is a “genuine honour” to invite the viewers back to the couple’s farm.
Comprised of ten episodes, the new series will see the family expand their livestock, deal with a herd of pregnant cows, navigate through lambing season, and participate in a county fair.
Leanne Clarke, Assistant Commissioner, Entertainment & Daytime ITV said:
“We are thrilled to have Kelvin, Liz and the family return for a second series. Last series was an exciting one, as well as being extremely entertaining and insightful for viewers at home. We can’t wait to have them all back on our screens!”
Fletcher’s Family Farm is produced by Daisybeck Studios in Leeds. The new series is expected to air this winter on ITV1 and ITVBe.
