Pixar Party proves hit for Disney fans and celebs

Excitement filled the air at the weekend as the Disney Store hosted a spectacular Pixar Party at its iconic Oxford Street location…

The event celebrated the launch of a brand-new collection of Pixar products. Guests of all ages enjoyed a fun-packed celebration, immersing themselves in a variety of Pixar-themed activities and entertainment throughout the store.

Among the famous faces joining the fun were Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash, who enthusiastically participated in the activities and posed for photos with live-action Pixar characters Joy and Sadness from the Inside Out movie franchise. They were joined by pop stars Kimberley Wyatt of the Pussy Cat Dolls and Heidi Range from the Sugababes, along with television presenter Tayo Oguntonade.

The event sparkled with surprises, featuring immersive ‘streetmosphere’ performances by Pixar Storytellers outside the store. Inside, guests stepped into the creative world at the “Make Your Own Forky” craft table, where both kids and adults brought the latest member of the Toy Story family to life.

Thrills continued as attendees – including Stacey and her family – raced each other on the Scalextric track in honour of Pixar’s Cars and captured memorable moments at the iconic Toy Story Pizza Planet Truck for selfies. Meanwhile, an Up! themed scavenger hunt offered a scout-style badge collection task that rewarded participants at various stations throughout the event.

In addition to these exciting family activities, guests had the exclusive opportunity to preview the latest Pixar products on sale at the Disney Store. Special commemorations included the 15th anniversary of Disney and Pixar’s Up! and the highly anticipated release of Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2.

Headlining the new collection were enchanting treasures like the Walt Disney World Up Minnie Mouse Ears, adorned with a satin bow and vibrant multi-coloured pom-poms, perfect for your own adventures. Guests could also embrace cuddly companionship with ‘Anxiety’, a new emotion from Inside Out 2, portrayed as a colourful soft toy with bright orange hair and a stressed expression.
