More Loose Men for ITV

The popular all-male panel show Loose Men will return to mark Mental Health Awareness Week.

Vernon Kay – who will anchor the special – tells viewers, “Nothing has been off limits in previous episodes of our award-winning show” before adding, “We know how important it is for men to get talking”.

Joining Vernon in the studio, Joe Swash and Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke will make their debuts, as well as returning ‘Loose Man‘ Jordan Banjo, to make up the panel.

Last year, Loose Men was named winner of the Daytime Programme category at the prestigious Royal Television Society Awards, celebrating an episode in which Jordan Banjo, Ore Oduba, Andi Peters and Shaun Wallace opened up on marriage, body image and the importance of talking to one another.

Continuing to smash the stigma around men’s mental health, the panel will once again share their own experiences and encourage others to do the same as they lead the conversation on the topics affecting viewers today.

Ahead of his first appearance on the panel, Anton Du Beke said: “I am delighted to be joining the Loose Men panel for the first time. It’s good to talk and what better time to do so than during Mental Health Awareness Week!”

Fellow first-time Loose Man, Joe Swash added: “I’ve absolutely loved being a guest on Loose Women over the years and now can’t wait for the chance to join Vernon, Anton and Jordan on the panel. We all know how important it is to talk but also, how important it is to see other people opening up on these things, so bring it on Loose Men!”

Jordan Banjo said: “I always have a wicked time on Loose Men and it’s an opportunity to spread the positive message that men need to talk too! Last time I was on, we won a RTS Award – which to me is obviously a massive honour but also encouragement that shows like this are needed and really are doing something positive. So, I can’t wait to be back on with the rest of the guys.”

Vernon Kay also commented: “I’m delighted to be back hosting another Loose Men special. We get such a great reaction every time we do one and with it being Mental Health Awareness Week, it’s great to provide a forum for men to have an open conversation about their mental health and remind us all that it’s good to talk.”

Loose Men on Friday 17th May at 12:30pm on ITV1, STV, STV Player and ITVX
