Croatia remain favourite to win Eurovision

Croatia are BetVictor’s hot favourites to win tomorrow night’s Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo.

Singer-songwriter Baby Lasagna with his entry Rim Tim Tagi Dim is priced at 11/10 to give his country their first Eurovision title but Israel have catapulted into 11/5 following their semi-final success.

Eden Golan will hope to storm to glory with her ballad Hurricane, while Nemo has been on a roll for the Swiss with their hit The Code, now priced at 6/1.

Duo Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil have a chance to give 2022 champions Ukraine another crown at 16/1 with Teresa & Maria and Ireland’s entry Bambie Thug is at 14/1 to win with Doomsday Blue.

Olly Alexander is an ever-drifting long shot at 80/1 to give the United Kingdom a first Eurovision title since 1997, with hosts Sweden 100/1 to clinch back-to-back titles.

Sam Boswell, spokesperson of BetVictor:

“After two exhilarating semi-finals this week the stage is set for Croatia to enjoy a maiden success on Saturday night. Baby Lasagna is well fancied at 11/10 but Israel can’t be ruled out either after shortening into 11/5 following their semi-final victory.

“Ukraine and Ireland are among the best of the rest, while there could be each-way value for the likes of France (10/1) and Italy (22/1). It would take a miracle for Olly Alexander to better Sam Ryder’s runner-up spot from 2022 and we have not seen a champion defend their title since the 1990s hence Sweden’s long price at 100/1.”

Eurovision – Winner:

Croatia 11/10
Israel 11/5
Switzerland 6/1
France 10/1
Ireland 14/1
Ukraine 16/1
Italy 22/1
Netherlands 30/1
BAR 80/1
