It’s the day of Gloria’s memorial, and George is nursing bad injuries from a fight the night before. Gina and Anna feel let down when their brother doesn’t show up.
George suddenly feels lightheaded and almost collapses. Cindy and Phil quickly realise what’s going on and insist that he goes to the hospital.
After a CAT scan, the doctors discover that George has a brain condition caused by repeated blows to the head. They warn him that even one more bad hit could be fatal. Elaine and the girls are livid when they find out that George has been fighting, and that Cindy was aware of it.
Back in Walford, Cindy watches as Rufus approaches George, handing him the money from last night’s fight and offering him another one.
Meanwhile, Patrick wants to go with Yolande to report Pastor Clayton, but she insists on doing it alone. Yolande tells Levi about Pastor Clayton sexually assaulting her, and he commends her bravery and promises to start investigating her complaint right away.
Elsewhere, Billy continues to refuse Honey’s pleas to let the kids see Stevie and flies off the handle when he sees Will with his grandad at the café. The situation almost turns violent, leaving Billy horrified that he’s turning into his father.
Also, Denzel arranges to train with an influencer called Ebony.

Bobby, Max, Bethany and Beth gather in the precinct to watch the police reconstruction of Lauren’s last known movements. Bethany is horrified to spot Nathan in the crowd. Bethany’s upset but Daniel assures her that Nathan is in prison and it was her mind playing tricks.
Nicky calls round and reveals that she’s off to meet a girl called Ellie, who was groomed as a teenager and might have information about Lauren.
Meanwhile, Maria explains to Billy and Paul how Liam has been having suicidal thoughts. Maria returns home to find Sarah and Gary looking shifty. She picks up some things and surreptitiously places a camera on the side.
As Gary sees Sarah out, they hug and agree to keep their distance from now on. Maria watches them on her phone and her face darkens.
Elsewhere, Glenda puts a proposition to Estelle – that she buys Little Big Shotz on credit and pays her back in instalments. Concerned, George scuppers the deal.
Glenda moans to Todd about George’s act of betrayal and Todd assumes she’s referring to Archie’s will. When Glenda demands to know what will, Todd realises his mistake.
Also, as Adam chats to Alya, Yasmeen wonders if she’s going to miss him. When he hands her an expensive law book, wishing her well in Dublin, will Alya be able to bring herself to leave?

Meanwhile, Paddy talks to Marlon following the dinner party and tries to urge him to make amends with Rhona. He later suggests marriage counselling, but will she agree and will it work?
