Pick of the Plots: Tuesday 30th April

Stevie is met with a frosty reception. Phil can see through his act and Billy soon leaves the pub. Honey consoles Billy and persuades him to talk to his dad.

Billy and Stevie have a frank conversation about his childhood. Billy’s hackles are raised when Jamie is bought up and he orders his dad out of his life. Later, Honey encourages Stevie to try harder if he wants a relationship with his son.

Meanwhile, Yolande takes refuge in the laundrette where she confides in Jean about her current crisis of faith. Jean gives Yolande food for thought, and she heads back to No.20 to tell the family that she’d like to arrange a baptism for Jordan.

Elsewhere, Whitney has a successful meet with Britney’s teacher about her Usher Syndrome diagnosis, but Reiss puts his foot in it when he reveals that Whitney is not Britney’s mother.

Whitney is shocked when social services arrive to take Britney away for her safety.

Manpreet apologises to Billy, but Charles has overheard. Furious, he storms out, leaving her with the fear their relationship is ruined.

Meanwhile, Chas is struggling with how her body has changed. She wears prostheses to The Woolpack for the first time, receiving solidarity from supportive women.

Elsewhere, with businesses struggling, Jimmy suggests a village fete. Nicola is pleased to have a distraction.

John Paul goes to the police and warns them that there is an attack planned. Zoe points out that conversion therapy is not illegal but promises that they will increase the police presence.

Lucas tries to make amends with Dillon. Carter tells Freya they are going on a surprise holiday with Lucas. Later, Dillon bails on Leah at Pride, while Carter sends Lucas to find his passport.

Meanwhile, John Paul and Sally attend Pride together after she reassures him. John Paul panics at a stranger in the crowd, but who is it?

Later, Kitty and Sally push for Pride to carry on. Kitty sings to the Pride audience.

Elsewhere, Maxine panics when she sees something and is left feeling jumpy. Murphy comes into The Loft and threatens Ethan, Freddie and Ste, who empty the tills. Ste goes to find Warren.
