Wildlife Rescue returns to Channel 4

The animal series returns to Channel 4…

This brand-new run of episodes follows the dedicated team at South Essex Wildlife Hospital.

Cameras follow the veterinary staff as they work to save the lives of sick, injured and orphaned animals, and return them to the wild, as they strive to protect and rehabilitate wildlife across Essex.

In the first episode, which airs this evening on Channel 4, the team face a race against time to prevent a fox from suffocation after he gets his head stuck in a plastic bottle at a building site. A swan needs life-saving surgery when she swallows a fisherman’s hook.

And a grey seal pup is recovering from a dog attack.
