The 2024 BAFTA TV Awards are set to take place next month, celebrating excellence in both domestic and international television and cinema from 2024. As anticipation builds, the question arises: who are the current favourites to win Best Actor and Actress?
The team at OLBG have revealed the latest odds and predictions on who is most likely to take home the award for Best Actor and Actress at the 2024 British Academy Film and Television Awards, and Brian Cox and Sarah Lancashire are the current favourites.

The odds have revealed Brian Cox is the early favourite with bookies to win the Best Actor category, with odds now at ¼, the actor currently has an 80% chance of winning one of the biggest awards on the night.
Sarah Lancashire is the current favourite to win the Best Actress BAFTA with odds standing at 2/7 for her role in Happy Valley. Lancashire won the award back in 2017, as well as being nominated in 2015 and bookies have her at the top to win the award again.
TV show The Crown is leading the way overall with a total of eight nominations, ahead of Demon 79 (Black Mirror) with seven. The P&O Cruises Memorable Moment Award is the only award voted for by the public, and nominees include Beckham: David teases Victoria about her ‘working class’ upbringing, Doctor Who: Ncuti Gatwa being revealed as the 15th Doctor, and The Last of Us: Bill and Frank’s Story.
This year’s BAFTAs awards ceremony will take place on Sunday 12th May with the show being broadcast in the UK on BBC One and iPlayer.
