Your Pick of the Plots for Monday, March 11.

George is struggling to cope with the news that no DNA matches have been found for him and there is no trace of his birth family. Elaine and Cindy advise him to tell the girls about their heritage before they head to Jamaica, and he reluctantly agrees.

When George shares his story, Gina and Anna are horrified and furious to learn the truth about Eddie and the trial. Gloria calls the pub under Eddie’s coercion, begging George to provide a defence statement in court.

Later, George goes to see Gloria and Eddie and sternly instructs them to never contact him or the girls again. However, Eddie reveals that he has information about George’s birth mother and will only share it if George agrees to be a character witness for him.

Meanwhile, Stacey and Jack find themselves thrown together as Lily and Ricky celebrate Mother’s Day at Walford East. Amy and Ricky plead with Jack to allow them to see Denise, and he promises to talk to Chelsea about it.

Johnny insists that Stacey needs to reach Denise before Jack or the children do, as there is a risk of the secret being exposed.

Elsewhere, Suki tries to make up with Eve, who is smarting from Suki moving out of the Slater house.

Also, Jean steps in to save the day when Jade is about to cancel her charity auction.

Bobby suggests Sean should think about renting Lauren’s old flat. But when Sean says he saw what looked like blood on the curtains, Carla and Bobby head straight for the police station and tell DS Swain.

DS Swain and Craig let themselves into Lauren’s flat and survey the extent of the blood stains.

Bobby tells them about her relationship with Roy, how he gave her a job, found her somewhere to live and cleaned up the mess in the flat after she left. DS Swain calls at the café and questions Roy.

Meanwhile, Stu tells Yasmeen that he’s going to put the £10k into trust for Eliza’s future. Eliza finds the envelope containing £10k in Stu’s coat pocket together with a note that reads “I’m sorry I let Eliza down”. As Eliza and Alya look at him expectantly, Stu’s heart sinks.

Elsewhere, Sean scrolls on his phone looking at flats to rent. Dylan insists he wants nothing more to do with Mason. A guilty Eileen assures them there’s no rush to move out and to take their time.

As Gary and Maria discuss Liam’s home-schooling routine, they are interrupted by a knock on the door from the police. The police tell Gary and Maria that Mason’s been charged with threatening with a bladed article in a public space and he will likely receive a custodial sentence.

Also, Sarah and Damon excitedly show Gail the details of a house they are going to view. Damon calls Harvey and tells him he wants a cut of the profits from the job or he will go to the police.
