New and familiar shows for ITV daytime weekend programming

Weekdays may remain rigid in regular programming, but the weekend is having a spring clean…

Brand new to the network is Jimmy and Shivi’s Farmhouse Breakfast, an eleven-episode series for Sunday mornings. Hosted by Jimmy Doherty and Shivi Ramotaur, the pair will provide viewers with a show packed with food, family and lifestyle from the barn on Jimmy’s thriving family farm in the beautiful Suffolk countryside – Farmhouse Breakfast HQ.

Also brand new to the network is The Chris McCausland Show – a chat show format hosted by the comedian on Saturday mornings. Also to air for eleven editions it will feature a line-up of celebrity guests and will be packed with humour, insights and inevitable shenanigans. Chris will immerse his guests in his audio world with interactive games that will have viewers of all ages laughing and playing along at home. And to top it all off, he’ll have live acoustic performances that will be the soundtrack of your weekend.

And returning to weekend mornings is Katie Piper’s Breakfast Show, which has been recommissioned for a third series and a double run with 22 episodes, now also across both Saturday and Sunday mornings – filling each day with feelgood features, entertainment and inspiration. Each week she’ll be serving up fabulous guests, fantastic experts, plus top tips and recommendations to keep you entertained in the week ahead.

Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning ITV:

“Our new weekend morning line ups on ITV provide a mix of brand new formats and talent, plus a returning favourite. Away from the studio, Jimmy and Shivi’s Farmhouse Breakfast will provide a wholesome start to your weekend mornings; we’re excited to welcome the funny talents of Chris McCausland with his brand new chat show; and we’re delighted to welcome back Katie Piper now across both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Your weekends start with us on ITV.”
