The events of this episode unfold over a span of five weeks.
Whitney and Zack travel to Milton Keynes to see Bianca, only to be met with hostility from local children Britney and Taylor. Whitney confides in Bianca about her pregnancy, but urges her to keep it from Sonia.
Whitney starts to form a kinship with Britney after she and her brother join the family for dinner at Bianca’s. Concerned for Britney’s well-being, Whitney discovers her searching for food in the bins, prompting Bianca to reveal her mother Keeley’s struggles with drug addiction.
Bianca welcomes Britney and Taylor into her home after finding them locked out of their flat. An enraged Whitney confronts Keeley for an explanation.
In the present day, Zack and Bianca try to persuade Whitney to return to Walford. Whitney is shocked to learn that Britney has not been attending school since 2020. Upon returning to Bianca’s, she is surprised to be greeted by Sonia. The situation escalates when Whitney notices a wound on Britney’s leg.
Whitney confronts Keeley, leading to a chaotic encounter where Britney flees. Whitney chases after her and saves her from an oncoming car, getting injured in the process. Zack, Bianca, and Sonia rush to Whitney’s side as she lies semi-conscious on the ground.

Having signed the divorce papers for Sarah, a sad and guilty Adam decides to delete Harvey’s appeal document. He places the USB of the CCTV footage in a jiffy bag and marks it “The murder of Natasha Blakeman”. Soon an angry Harvey calls him, aware that the police have the CCTV footage and tells Adam to watch his back.
Adam calls at Sarah’s flat and tells her he doesn’t want a divorce; he still loves her and wants them to try again. A shocked Sarah runs out of the flat. Seeing her mum upset, Bethany heads over just as a car accelerates towards them.
Meanwhile, Gary and Maria take Liam for a milkshake in the café, but when Mason enters, Maria flies at him and Gary has to restrain her. Mrs Crawshaw tells them she is gathering evidence to get Mason expelled.
Liam confides in Jake how he saw Mason picking on another boy at school. Jake reckons he should report him, but Liam’s adamant he doesn’t want to get involved.
Elsewhere, Ryan calls at the factory hoping for some work, but Carla explains that they are fully staffed. When Ryan reveals that he and Daisy are now an item, Carla’s horrified.
Also, with Fiz and Tyrone due home, Evelyn and Cassie agree that it’s going to be overcrowded and each suggest the other moves out.
Fiz and Tyrone arrive home to find Evelyn and Cassie in the middle of a row. Fiz gently points out to Tyrone that there isn’t room for all of them and he’ll have to choose.

Nate wants to exercise his rights as a partner in the car firm.
Caleb is receptive despite Ruby’s cynical comments, but says he needs time to organise the accounts to show Nate. This leaves Ruby suspicious.
Meanwhile, a nervous Chas is bolstered by Aaron’s support as he joins her for the hospital appointment and she reveals her intention to have a double mastectomy.
Elsewhere, Rhona realises that Gus is deceiving her.
