Your Pick of the Plots for Monday, February 26.

Suki is frustrated with Stacey for involving the doctors in Denise’s situation. Despite Stacey’s assurance that Denise is unaware of the murder weapon’s whereabouts, Suki remains sceptical and urges Stacey to cosy up to Jack for potential information that Denise may reveal.

Jack is struggling to deal with the fallout of Denise’s breakdown and sectioning. After bumping into Chelsea, he makes the decision to visit Denise, only to be turned away by her.

Jack returns to the Square to seek comfort from Stacey.

Meanwhile, Phil tells Kat that his solicitor has started divorce proceedings. Kat eavesdrops on Ben as he talks about Phil buying The Arches, leading her to believe that he is attempting to prevent her from receiving her rightful share.

Nish seizes the opportunity to get his hands on some of the Mitchell fortune and introduces Kat to dodgy divorce lawyer Roger Peel.

Elsewhere, Jade seizes the opportunity to get some much-needed freedom and plays matchmaker between Dean and Fern.

Tim tells Tracy he knows about her affair and she has to tell Steve. Tracy returns home with a feeling of dread, but she’s wrongfooted when Steve goes down on one knee and asks her if she’ll renew their vows. Tracy finds herself agreeing.

An excited Steve tells Tim that he and Tracy are renewing their vows and he’d like him to be his best man. Tim’s horrified, but will he tell Steve the truth about Tracy and Tommy Orpington?

Meanwhile, Carla is confused when she gets chatting to a rep from Waterfords who explains that he’s meeting Daisy, the owner of the Rovers.

Later, Daisy tells Jenny she’s secured a deal allowing them to stock Newton & Ridley. Jenny’s annoyed but Daisy points out she is co-owner of the pub. They’re horrified to realise Carla’s heard every word.

Elsewhere, Adam tells Harvey that CCTV places John away from Nataha’s murder. Harvey orders him to destroy the footage.

Also, Emily visits Dee Dee and confirms that she and Joel are separated; Bobby reports Lauren missing to the police after getting no answer at her flat.

Charity is struggling.

Meanwhile, Jimmy and Nicola worry that they haven’t done enough to prepare Angelica for what’s to come.

Elsewhere, Marlon is supportive of Rhona but it is clear the looming court case is taking its toll.
