Based On A True Story to return to Sky Max

Sky has confirmed it will broadcast a second series of Based On A True Story which has been renewed following the huge success of the first run of episodes on Sky Max and NOW.

A dark, comedic thriller, Based On A True Story is a satire of the true crime genre with elements that are loosely inspired by true events. Series one follows Ava (Kaley Cuoco) and her husband Nathan (Chris Messina), a down-on-their-luck couple, whose lives collide with an infamous serial killer terrorising Los Angeles and seize a unique opportunity to capitalise on America’s obsession with true crime by making a podcast with the killer.
