The cafe’s imminent reopening is stymied when Kat and Nish discover there has been a leak. Kathy and Stacey overhear Nish lamenting that the floor needs replacing and call a crisis meeting at No.31.
Denise seeks solace at the community centre with Pastor Clayton who encourages her to unburden herself. Back at home, she prepares to write a letter to Jack.
Denise hallucinates Keanu as the events of Christmas continue to weigh heavy on her.
Meanwhile, Bernie comes up with a plan to win her old job back. Nish is impressed by her initiative and offers her the manager position. Later, at the opening, Nish berates Bernie when she accidentally plays an old voice note from Keanu.
Kathy, Stacey, Linda and Suki panic when Karen makes a surprise appearance.
Elsewhere, Linda and Alfie have a heart to heart over recent events. Alfie reveals he’s going on holiday and invites Linda to go with him.
Also, Eddie arrives at The Vic with the news that he has won an award for championing diversity in boxing. George is proud, but Gina isn’t convinced by her grandad’s new ‘nice guy’ act.

Tracy arranges to spend some time with Tommy at the shop before Steve arrives home. However, Steve arrives home early and sets about preparing a French buffet to impress Tracy.
In the flower shop, Tracy turns the sign to ‘closed’ as she kisses Tommy.
Finding the shop locked, Steve shouts he knows she’s in there. As Tracy gingerly opens the door, with Tommy behind her, Steve’s gobsmacked.
Meanwhile, it’s Sarah’s birthday and Adam’s seething as he clocks Sarah helping Damon move his things into the flat. Adam asks Dee-Dee and Joel about a firearms case he’s taken on and wonders if they have dealt with anything similar.
As Damon hands out shots to Audrey, Gail, Bethany, Nick and Sarah and raises a toast to Sarah’s birthday, Adam shoots him daggers. But when Dee-Dee and Joel arrive at the Bistro to tell him that they might have cracked his case, is Adam’s luck about to change?
Elsewhere, Bethany asks Daniel about the cat-fishing between Daisy and Ryan.
Also, Ed rejects Damon’s advice of making an inflated insurance claim, but Damon grabs the form when his back is turned.; Simon arrives for work hungover.

Rhona is filled with dread when Gus, who is coping better, says that he wants Ivy back full-time.
As Gus packs up Ivy’s things and heads out with her, Rhona tells Marlon that she hopes Ivy will play up for Gus.
Meanwhile, Wendy urges Bob to put an end to his feud with Jimmy.
Elsewhere, Tracy tells Nate she no longer loves him. His shock turns to anger as he demands to know why their marriage is over.
