Michelle Visage to host the first-ever WOW Presents Plus live broadcast from RuPaul’s DragCon UK

RuPaul’s DragCon UK is making HERSTORY in 2024 with LIVE on the Pink Carpet, which is hosted by long-standing Emmy-nominated Drag Race judge and Executive Producer Michelle Visage.

This first-ever WOW Presents Plus live broadcast will see Visage give fans across the globe a front-row view of the hottest action from The Queens Walk at RuPaul’s DragCon UK. 

Michelle Visage will get the juicy scoop with the all-important carpet-side interviews, as the biggest lineup ever since RuPaul’s DragCon launched in LA in 2016, will see an epic 180+ of the world’s top Drag Queens under one roof and ready to ‘sissy that walk’ down the iconic Pink Carpet as the convention opens its doors on the morning of Saturday 13th January.

Additionally, just days before the 75th Primetime Emmy® Awards, where RuPaul’s Drag Race has been nominated in an impressive 9 categories, Mama Ru will be passing the baton over to his best judy Michelle Visage in his absence. Visage will have the great honour of cutting the pink ribbon to officially open the DRAGTASTIC weekend of celebrations at RuPaul’s DragCon UK 2024. In another RuPaul’s DragCon UK first, Bring Back My Girls Series 3 will be filming at the January convention. Hosted by Ts Madison, the live panels will reunite casts from around the globe to spill the tea on their seasons and catch up with where they are now. Attendees can expect to see tears and laughter galore in these feisty reunions of casts from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Drag Race Germany, Drag Race Espana, Drag Race France, Drag Race Belgium and Drag Race Italy.

RuPaul’s DragCon UK takes place at ExCeL London on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th January, with After Hours Parties featuring some of your favourite RuPaul’s Drag Race queens available as separately ticketed events for over 16s outside of convention hours on the evenings of Friday 12th and Saturday 13th January. The newly crowned Ginger Johnson and entire cast of the RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 5 will kick things off on Friday evening, followed by a celebration of Global Drag with Global Glamazons on Saturday.
