Yesterday evening, Studio 99 (Beckham, Save Our Squad) and MetFilm hosted a special screening of the critically acclaimed documentary film Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything.
As well as film talent including champion snooker player and film subject Ronnie O’Sullivan, director Sam Blair, producer James Davidson and editor Paul Monaghan, the event was attended by famous faces including tennis player Andy Lapthorne and entrepreneur and former The Apprentice contestant Sabrina Stocker.
The screening took place at London’s May Fair Hotel, for an audience made up of awards voters, select media and VIP guests. The film was followed by a Q&A with Ronnie O’Sullivan and director Sam Blair,and moderated by Natalie Jamieson. Those who want to watch the film at home can stream it in the UK and Ireland on Prime Video now.
Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything, from acclaimed filmmaker Sam Blair, explores how one of the most revered and accomplished British sporting heroes is able to function at the highest level despite a constant battle with his inner demons.
The film focuses on understanding Ronnie’s genius, illuminating his past through never-before-seen archive family footage and charts his rise to fame from his early teens and the mental challenges he has overcome in the pursuit of perfection.
