Tricia Penrose and Dean Sullivan go in search of antique bargains with BBC Two

Today it’s up to the North West of England as BBC Two goes in search of a few bargains with two celebrities.

In this edition of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip Tricia Penrose – best known for her appearances in ITV’s Heartbeat and Channel 4’s Brookside regular Dean Sullivan roam around the streets of Liverpool, supported by regular Road Trippers Ishy Khan and Roo Irvine, to try and get the best antiques for £400 each.

They’ll be scooting along in a 1970s Volvo 1800 ES, hunting for old-fashioned gear in some of Merseyside’s most iconic neighbourhoods before heading off for a nail-biting auction in Bolton. This hour-long programme is the final television outing for Dean, who died last week aged 68.
