Gatsby (Timothée Chalamet), a wealthy Liberal Arts student with a penchant for gambling, decides to join his girlfriend Ashleigh (Elle Fanning) in Manhattan after interviewing prolific director Roland Pollard (Liev Schreiber) for the student newspaper.
