Despite reports of not signing up to January’s new series, one bookies still make Holly Willoughby odds-on to present the 2024 edition of Dancing on Ice.
Willoughby, who has presented the show in two stints – first from its launch in 2006 to 2011 and again from its return in 2018 – is 1/4 to return to her hosting duties for the upcoming series and is likely to do so alongside Stephen Mulhern, who is 1/10 to be awarded one of the two currently vacant presenting roles.
Josie Gibson is third on the list at 5/1 despite entering the I’m A Celebrity Jungle this weekend, with Rochelle Humes and Alison Hammond next in the betting at 8/1 apiece. Christine Lampard who hosted alongside Schofield for three series until 2014 is 8/1 to return.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps:
“There certainly seems to be a sense of apprehension among the Dancing On Ice bosses as to who will present the upcoming January series, but our market suggests the ITV executives need not worry about host Holly Willoughby’s chances of returning to the screens.
“Willoughby is heavily fancied at 1/4 to resume her hosting duties when the new series kicks off in a few weeks’ time, with Stephen Mulhern (1/10) the likeliest candidate to replace Phillip Schofield as her presenting partner.”
