Nish smashes up The Minute Mart in a fit of rage. He runs into Ravi on the street, who realises there is something wrong and takes him to Walford East. After sharing everything with Ravi, Nish goes home determined to uncover the truth.

Meanwhile, Jack comforts a drunken Stacey after she tearfully confesses her fears about Theo. He takes her back to No.27 to sober up where Sam expresses her dislike of the Slaters.

Once alone, Jack is shocked when Stacey admits that she planted the wrench on Theo to cover up Freddie’s actions and make it look like Theo tried to attack her.

Elsewhere, Keanu demands Karen hand over the ransom money but she refuses before the pair are interrupted by Mitch who wants answers. Keanu makes a quick exit leaving a tearful Karen to reveal all.

Mitch is disgusted to learn about Karen’s involvement in Albie’s kidnapping and insists they must give the money back.

As Gemma prepares for their early Christmas, Chesney remarks that Joseph still seems unwell. On Bernie’s advice, Gemma makes Joseph drink lavender tea in the hope it will perk him up. But when Joseph passes out, Chesney is horrified and calls an ambulance.

In the hospital, the doctor tends to Joseph whilst Chesney blames himself, wishing he’d listened to Gemma all along. The doctor drops the bombshell that Joseph has been poisoned. Chesney and Gemma reel in shock.

Meanwhile, Lauren presents Max with a new watch to thank him for all he’s done for her. Max worries about the cost but Lauren assures him she’s been given a promotion at the call centre. Sabrina lets Lauren know that she disapproves of the gift.

Later, Bernie counts the day’s takings at the cafe and realises they’re £80 short.

Elsewhere, Sarge makes himself at home to Ed’s annoyance. When he admits that his business is struggling and he needs to borrow £2k, Ronnie assures him that he and Ed can lend him the money. Ed masks his rising panic.

Also, George can see Liam is being bullied at school and shares his concerns with Gary.

There are heart-breaking times for David.

Meanwhile, with Suni untrusting over whether Nicky has kept the secret, he dumps Nicky but is instantly regretful.

Suni tries to distance himself from Amit and soon their relationship seems broken.
