BBC One Scotland spends more time with ‘The Scotts’

The Scotts are back, showcasing the antics of the funniest fictional family in Scotland as the comedy-series returns.

In this first episode, Henry misses the mark when it comes to date night with Laura. So, after some relationship advice from Vonny, he does his best to throw himself into his wife’s latest romantic adventure.

Determined to be known as more than just a new mum. Collette sets her sights on reigniting her singing career busking on the streets of Glasgow, with devoted Darren watching on. However, it proves far from purr-fect when faced with some competition from dancing cats.

Vincent dispenses some ‘short guy’ dating advice to his nephew Jason but Vonny insists she’s the “oracle of love”, not her husband.

Written by and starring comedy partnership Robert Florence and Iain Connell, all six episodes of The Scotts are available to view on BBC iPlayer from Tuesday 14 November.

The sitcom stars Robert Florence as Vincent, Iain Connell as Henry, Sharon Young as Laura, Shauna MacDonald as Vonny, Louise McCarthy as Colette, Lee Greig as Darren and Taylor Stewart as Jason. Also starring Barbara Rafferty as Moira, Jamie MacDonald as Ronnie, Bigg Taj as AJ and Amelia Leith as Eilidh.

The Scotts, Tuesday 14 November, BBC One Scotland, 10.40 pm
