At the café, Rocky tampers with the electrics and manages to start a fire.
Rocky heads to Walford East for his date with Kathy where he is accosted by Harvey who questions him on his whereabouts. Rocky remains tight-lipped on his actions but Harvey isn’t convinced.
Meanwhile, a panicked Bobby sees the fire blazing inside the café. He tries to extinguish it but the cafe explodes. An unconscious Bobby is trapped inside.
Elsewhere, Reiss drowns his sorrows in The Vic as he discusses IVF and fertility with George, Elaine, Linda, Patrick and Yolande.

A bereft Brenda cries on the shoulder of Nicola, who bolsters her to move on and find another man.

Meanwhile, Felix confides in Goldie and Nana about letting Mercedes down. With their help, Felix makes a love nest for Mercedes’ return.
When Warren’s car breaks down, tension rises between him and Mercedes. Unable to hide his true feelings any longer, Warren admits that he still wants Mercedes.
Elsewhere, Scott is putting on a queer open day at the youth centre, which John Paul is helping with. As he’s so busy, John Paul turns down Carter, who asks for volunteers to help at the church where he’s planning to put food on for the homeless.
After speaking to Gareth, Carter says he’ll do whatever it takes to “save” John Paul.
