Pick of the Plots: Monday 30th October

Elaine worries that nobody will be in the mood to celebrate Halloween at The Vic following Jay’s accident, but Linda has big plans.

Linda realises that George is hiding something from Elaine, who overhears them bickering and demands answers. George admits that he gave Cindy 50% of the bar sale money. Elaine is furious. After a heart-to-heart with Linda, Elaine agrees to hear George out.

Later, The Vic’s Halloween party gets underway with Elaine making the effort for Linda’s sake. But after putting Ollie to sleep, Linda goes into the kitchen and gets a massive shock.

Meanwhile, Ben tries desperately to protect Lexi from the reality of Jay’s bleak situation, but Lexi is determined to be there for Jay and insists that Ben let her go to the hospital.

Elsewhere, Dorian threatens Sharon when she refuses to pay him for the recent Pub, Pint and Fight event. Keanu steps in but Sharon doesn’t appreciate his meddling.

Also, Rocky confides in Harvey that he is struggling to repay a loan to Nish.

Ryan is shocked when he sees Lauren get a notification from O-Vidz and she admits that she has been posting content. Pointing out she is underage; Ryan threatens to report her. Lauren insists she needs the money and if Ryan reports her, she will tell Daniel about him and Daisy.

Ryan tells Daisy about Lauren’s videos and how he had to report her out of a sense of duty, but fears she’ll spill her guts to Daniel out of revenge. Are Daisy and Daniel about to be found out?

Meanwhile, on Bernie’s advice, Dev calls at the precinct flat, intent on making peace with Aadi. But how will Dev feel when he discovers Aadi has got a job stacking shelves at Freshco?

Elsewhere, the bistro Halloween party gets under way. Sam and Hope agree to give their relationship another go.

Also, Dee-Dee puts pressure on Sarah to give Michael his job back.

Craig’s body has been found and Lydia is determined to find out who was responsible.

Already knowing Sam and Cain had Craig tied up in a remote barn, Lydia begins her investigation with them. In a series of flashbacks, we see what happened at the barn.

Belle is caught out when the room shifts their focus to her alibi.

In a series of flashbacks, we see Belle recount her day with Tom. After a romantic meal, Tom proposed to Belle – but Belle is not giving a true account of the full day.
