Jay wakes up groggy at The Vic, and George is concerned that he is a negative influence on Gina. After George finds drugs in Jay’s belongings, he throws him out, and Linda bars him. Jay bumps into Keanu and the pair almost fight, unaware that Sharon is watching,
Jay is overcome with emotion whilst looking at Lola’s things before Ben and Gina find him unconscious on the sofa having taken more drugs. Billy is disgusted at Jay and a huge row erupts between the pair.
A heartbroken Jay speeds off in a car headed for Margate. Later, the police arrive at The Vic looking for Jay’s next-of-kin as its revealed Jay has been in an accident…
Meanwhile, Sharon decides against making Keanu Albie’s legal guardian following his altercation with Jay, and tells him she’s chosen Zack instead.
Elsewhere, Cindy meets with the other bidder for the pawnshop and suggested splitting their offer to go into business together. Ian is reluctant, but Cindy asks him to trust her as the mystery buyer is an ex-resident of Walford.

Aadi persuades a reluctant Courtney to accompany him to the Freshco recruitment day, pointing out that with two lots of wages coming in, they could live somewhere better. As they get ready to leave, Courtney tells Aadi she feels sick and he’ll have to go alone.
Meanwhile, in the café, Daniel tells Daisy that he plans to take Bertie to visit Sinead’s grave later as it’s four years since her death. Daisy squeezes his hand supportively.
Daniel suggests to Daisy he’ll sell his mum’s house and buy Elaine’s flat in Redbank. When Daisy suggests they delay moving until she’s got a proper job, Daniel’s disappointed.
Elsewhere, Ed and Ronnie meet up with the potential investor in the Bistro. The investor is impressed with Ronnie’s sales spiel and agrees to go ahead. Ronnie orders champagne all round.

Eric tries to get David to move on.
Having spent the night together, Jacob and Victoria are shocked when David arrives unannounced. After an awkward interaction, Victoria manages to get rid of David, who’s left bemused at how things went down.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Gail and Oscar get along well, but an awkward Ryan hangs back feeling the odd one out. When the conversation turns to music, relieved Ryan finds a way in. Watching on, Sophie is conflicted about the bond that is starting to form.
