World’s Most Dangerous Roads is returning to Dave and UKTV Play for a second series.
Following the success of the first series, which aired earlier this year, the new eight-episode run will see a whole new batch of comedy pairings set off on a daring journey to navigate some of the most treacherous roads around the world.
Series one, which is available via catch-up on UKTV Play, followed Lou Sanders, Ed Gamble, Phil Wang, Stephen Mangan, Lara Ricote, Keith Lemon, Darren Harriott and more as they drove along the most challenging routes in countries such as Albania, Iceland and Australia.
The first series reached an average audience of 654k individuals per episode, peaking with 848k individuals for Joe Wilkinson and Zoe Lyon’s off-road adventure. Across all outings on Dave to date, World’s Most Dangerous Roads series one has reached over 4.1m individuals.
Some of the comedy pairings taking on World’s Most Dangerous Roads in series two include Jamali Maddix and Larry Dean who head to the dramatic landscapes of Bhutan, Rhod Gilbert and Angela Barnes take on the Italian Alps, and Mike Wozniak and Ola Labib drive into the Namibian wilderness. Slovenia will see David Harewood and Fraser James tackle its dangerous roads whilst Olga Koch and Thanyia Moore venture into the diverse terrain of Bulgaira. Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara set out on a thrillingly scenic journey to Sri Lanka and Desiree Burch and Jessica Fostekew travel on Colorado’s notoriously dangerous ground. Finally, Seann Walsh and Joe Swash explore Guatemala’s not so safe turf.
