Country music fans will soon be able to bring the heart of Nashville straight to their living rooms with a new series of concerts from the Grand Ole Opry coming to Sky Arts at the end of October.
Known as the show that made country music famous, each Grand Ole Opry performance features eight or more artists, from country superstars to up-and-comers, in front of a live audience. “Opry Live” showcases these performances in a one-hour broadcast featuring exclusive highlights from the Grand Ole Opry stage.
Sky Arts will air four “Opry Live” shows this month, with more to come in 2024. The series will kick off on 21st October with a weekend of shows featuring multi-platinum award-winning artist, Luke Combs, currently on tour in the UK. Viewers in the UK and Ireland can experience the legendary atmosphere of Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee for the first time as Luke takes to the stage to perform hits including “Hurricane”, “Beautiful Crazy” and “Forever After All” joined by fellow Opry members including Craig Morgan, Lauren Alaina, Zach Williams and Old Crow Medicine Show.
