Pick of the Plots: Wednesday 27th September

Suki fields questions from PC Nash about Nugget’s disappearance and whether there were problems at home. She’s keen to drop Ravi in it.

Ravi suspects it’s Denise who has been stirring it. He confronts her but she bites back with some harsh home truths.

Meanwhile, Elaine and George’s excitement over the bar sale is dampened by Cindy as she stakes her claim. Determined to keep things civil, George invites her and Ian to dinner to talk over the issue.

Later, tensions are high as the foursome sit down together, but when Cindy gets George alone, she becomes manipulative.

Elsewhere, Billy is horrified when he gets sent some raunchy pictures from ‘Stacey’, but Martin quickly realises that Theo is behind it. Stacey is mortified. Martin loses it and goes after Theo, banging on his door. Theo threatens to call the police as Stacey reels.

Aadi and Courtney announce that they’re moving into Shelly’s old flat. Courtney tells Aadi that she’ll sell her rings to put towards the deposit, and with the rest of the cash they can go out and celebrate. Courtney drags Aadi to the Bistro, where a golf club bash is also going on. Seeing it as a great opportunity to wind Darren up, Courtney snogs the face off Aadi while talking loudly about their new flat.

Dev can barely watch as Aadi and Darren square up. Bernie orders calm, but as they leave, she warns Courtney that she knows her game – it’s obvious she’s using Aadi when she’s still in love with Darren.

Darren takes Dev to one side and offers him £5k to split up Courtney and Aadi. Dev returns home and, pulling out the £5k, tells Courtney it’s hers if she dumps Aadi. Will she take the bait?

Meanwhile, Jenny and Stephen move in with Rita, but assure Rita that they won’t be under her feet for long as hopefully they’re off to Thailand. On the street, Jenny, Glenda, Daisy, Sean and Gemma watch emotionally as the Waterford’s workmen start boarding up The Rovers.

Elsewhere, Billy and Paul meet up with the registrar to go over their wedding plans.

Also, Tyrone tells Evelyn that Cassie has gone to a meeting, but when he gets a phone call from the police, his heart sinks.

Coronation Street, ITV1, tonight at 8pm

Manpreet and Ethan both take the day off to help reluctant Claudette with funeral planning.

Manpreet does her best to encourage Claudette. There is a moment of affection between them as they agree to push through to the funeral.

Meanwhile, Chloe tells Mack the truth after delaying sharing the news that she isn’t pregnant, but how will he react?

Elsewhere, Gail worries for Ryan.

Emmerdale, ITV1, tonight at 7.30pm

A bereft Romeo arrives back in the village with Nadira and Lacey to the house he shared with Rayne. He is distraught as he looks at Rayne’s belongings.

The bad side of Rayne and her misplaced influencer stunts fade into insignificance as they recall all of the good times they shared. Devastated Lacey is conflicted – she loved Rayne, but was their friendship real?

Meanwhile, Warren is hiding something. He refuses to share with Joel what is on his mind until his worried son accuses him of relapsing onto abusing painkillers.

Elsewhere, at Rafe’s, the Earl is still desperate to host a ball in memory of his late father. His plans are currently being scuppered by councillor Tony, who has blocked plans for a firework display and is against the event.
