On this Day 1975: Sue Jay meets the St. Patrick Tug-of-War team from Leicester

ATV Today caught up with the St. Patrick’s Tug-of-War team from Leicester, practising for the world championships to be held in Holland. 

Sue Jay interviews the team’s coach and trainer, Colin Manton, about the sport. Includes footage of the team pulling a 1,300 hundredweight barrel full of concrete high into a tree as part of their training. Also features a match between two teams as well as the process of weighing an entire team.
