Pick of the Plots: Monday 18th September

Suki convinces Denise to give a statement to the police about Ravi. However, the police dismiss what they have to say due to a lack of evidence and Suki’s previous failed statement. While Denise wants to distance herself from the Panesars, Suki has another idea – she will secretly record Ravi’s confession.

Meanwhile, Phil struggles to contain his guilt as Kat excitedly prepares for the wedding. The situation is made worse by Keanu’s threats to reveal all about his night of passion with Emma, unless he oils the wheels with Louise to get him access to Peggy. Later, Phil lies to Keanu that he’s told Kat everything about Emma to get him off his back.

Elsewhere, Stacey is terrified when she bumps into Theo in the Square gardens. Jack consoles Stacey back at No.29 and agrees to help her get an interim stalking protection order.

Also, Jay returns to the Square after a night of walking having not been able to sleep due to grief. He’s warmed as he meets a girl, Nadine, who looks a lot like Lola.

Summer hands Billy and Paul a polaroid camera for their stag do and explains that phones are banned. Paul is thrilled. As they arrive at the Bistro, Billy is taken aback by all the glitter and the rainbows but Paul loves it. Gemma leads the drinking games and Billy starts to relax.

The police call at No.7 and tell Bernie they’d like her to answer some questions regarding a potential fraud investigation involving Shelly.

At the station, Bernie makes out she’s simply helping a young woman with MND by collecting a few parcels for her. But the police have a shock revelation for Bernie that leaves Paul reeling.

Meanwhile, Ed struggles when Neil, their site manager, suggests they bet on when the digger will turn up. In the Rovers, the lads gather to watch the match. When Neil suggests they have a flutter, Ed’s sorely tempted.

Elsewhere, at Dev’s request, Aadi suggests to Courtney that she make a contribution to the household bills. Courtney’s evasive.

Also, Ryan receives a message from an O-Vidz subscriber offering to pay extra for a live video.

At a tasting event, Victoria mistakenly tells Jacob that a slider is nut-free, leading to an allergic reaction.

Panic ensues after a frantic search for an Auto Adrenaline Injector. Jacob manages to indicate that there’s one in his car, and Victoria rushes to retrieve it. Leyla struggles while Jacob weakens.

Meanwhile, April is left stunned when Cathy reveals her new plan to cure her PMDD symptoms.

Elsewhere, Sam makes a last-ditch effort to reconcile with Lydia before going to Ireland but she can’t reciprocate.
