Everyone Else Burns, starring Simon Bird, has been renewed by Channel 4.
The apocalyptic comedy explores life in a hyper-religious community and asks: how does an idiosyncratic family navigating modern day life protect themselves from eternal hell fire?
Bird portrays David, the patriarch of the Lewis family who belong to a religious sect known as The Order.
The cast also includes Amy James-Kelly, Kate O’Flynn, Lolly Adefope, Kadiff Kirwan and Morgana Robinson.

In season two, David’s daughter Rachel (Amy James-Kelly) searches for a new direction, there is a rebellion that could radically alter the entire congregation and the return of a figure from the past who could shape the family’s future.
Everyone Else Burns is written by Dillon Mapletoft and Oliver Taylor and is co-produced by Jax Media and Universal International Studios.

Channel 4 note that filming is due to take place next year.
