ATV Today reporter Sue Jay at Acton Scott Farm, near Church Stretton in Shropshire, which was being converted into a farm museum to show visitors how an agricultural establishment operated in the late 1800s.
Sue chats with the farm owner, Jeff McCabe and also workers including Ernie Carter who has spent 52 years working at the site. Acton Scott Farm was the backdrop to the 2008 BBC series ‘Victorian Farm‘.
The farm is now oversee by Shropshire Council and they are currently working on establishing a new not-for-profit organisation to operate a working heritage farm attraction on the site from spring 2024. A hotel and B&B also operate in the grounds.
