As Eve reels from recent events, Stacey advises her against meeting Caroline, but Eve goes against Stacey’s wishes and meets Caroline at Walford East.
Later, with Lily’s social worker due, Eve returns home in an agitated state and trashes the kitchen. Theo feigns concern for Eve’s wellbeing. The social worker arrives amidst the chaos and Lily and Stacey try their best to distract her.
Meanwhile, Alfie struggles to process his recent news and is unenthusiastic about spending the day in the Boxing Den with Tommy and Phil. Tommy reveals that he’s worried about Alfie having seen him head to the hospital in a cab the day before.
Elsewhere, Bernie’s birthday party is a success but Bobby starts to worry that Anna may have feelings for Freddie. At the party Anna receives a message from her private investigator, who claims to have news of her mum, and after a chat with Freddie, she decides to meet him.
