Kat is shocked to find Ben in a terrible state as he punches a bag at the Boxing Den. She soon discovers why he’s so upset and offers her perspective as a fellow survivor of rape.

Kat warns Ben he’ll destroy himself and everyone he loves if he doesn’t seek help. Ben reluctantly agrees try a support group, with Kat accompanying him. Ben returns home to Callum who begs Ben to let him in and share what’s going on.

Meanwhile, Zack and Whitney struggle to see eye to eye on the subject of children.

Elsewhere, Sonia and Reiss have a heart-to-heart

A despondent Jenny tells Daisy that a property developer is coming to value the pub. George suggests to Gemma that, given her history with Henry, she could use her womanly wiles to change his mind about buying the place.

Gemma arrives at a hotel, expecting to work on a cider promotion. She discovers it was just a ruse on Henry’s part to get some alone time with her. How will she react? At the same time, Chesney discovers where she is and heads over to the hotel. What will he find?

Meanwhile, as Carla and Stephen see a client out of the factory, Lou approaches and Stephen’s heart sinks. Lou confides in Stephen and Carla that the coroner found that Rufus died by misadventure. Lou tells Stephen that as far as she’s concerned, Rufus’s drug fuelled death still doesn’t stack up. Stephen assures her it was obviously a tragic accident.

Elsewhere, Stu calls Bridget and informs her that Eliza has been in contact with her dad.

Also, Shona tells Lauren that she has got her a job at the café. Lauren is grateful, but nervous; Adam tries to make Sarah jealous.

Coronation Street, ITV1, tonight at 8pm

Negotiations, prayers and a desperate plan unfold as Colin’s unstable behaviour escalates. Later, Laurel tries to escape when she hits Colin over the head and tries to dash for the door but she’s locked in.

Meanwhile, Cain presents Dan and Amelia with ferry tickets, an old car and a burner phone for their escape to Ireland.

Elsewhere, Tracy thinks that Nate is doing well at work.

Emmerdale, ITV1, tonight at 7.30pm

Norma puts the sweet 16th party back on at The Loft, telling Warren it’s good for their image. However, feeling like Norma has gone behind his back, Warren tells his mum that he wants no more secrets.

Later, a hurt Shing Lin takes to the microphone during the party, but what will she say?

Meanwhile, Ste is displeased to hear that James intends to kick the McQueens out of their home during a surprise home inspection. The McQueens are anonymously tipped off and prepared for James’ visit, but Sally also discovers they need 24 hours’ notice before an inspection.

Later, James asks Ste if he was the one who tipped them off. Goldie tells James that they’ll be putting a statue of Bronzer up in the village to remind him of what he did to her beloved pet.

Elsewhere, Darren tries to encourage Charlie to seek professional help.
