Martin digs for information on Theo via his former pupil Freddie. His concern deepens when Lily lets slip that Theo bought trainers for her, but Stacey tells him to back off.
Undeterred, Martin heads to Theo’s old school and manages to glean some information on why Theo left. Back at the Slater house, Stacey is hosting a tea for Theo when Martin barges in and starts throwing accusations around.
Meanwhile, Ravi blags an invite to Zack’s party and is determined to win Chelsea round. When she dismisses him, Ravi starts playing games and chats up partygoer Daisy. Chelsea won’t take the bait, but deliberately sabotages Ravi’s plans with Daisy, infuriating him.
Elsewhere, Jack surprises Denise with a picnic lunch; Sharon and Kat snipe at each other during Elaine’s brides club.

Paul wakes up in the hotel bedroom with a monumental hangover. Reaching for his jacket, he realises with horror that Zac has stolen the £800 charity money. Billy is relieved as Paul explains he had one too many and passed out on a mate’s sofa. But when Billy suggests they use the charity money to buy a stairlift and offers to bank it for him, Paul snaps.
Awash with guilt, Paul confesses to Billy how he met Zac, an old flame, they got drunk and things got out of hand. Billy is appalled.
Meanwhile, Stephen tells Elaine that he has booked her a wedding consultation with a personal shopper and Audrey is going with her. As they return with their wedding outfits, the good mood is broken when Tim makes his dislike of Stephen clear and tells them not to bother sending him an invitation.
On Stephen’s advice, Elaine writes Tim a letter telling him how much he has hurt her and how she can’t take anymore.
Elsewhere, when a customer complains about Ryan’s facial scars, Leanne leaps to his defence, claiming he’s a hero. Having caught the end of her outburst, Ryan hurries out.
Also, Gemma breaks down to Rita, explaining that she’s utterly exhausted. Rita urges her to talk to Dr Gaddas.
