Kirstie and Phil reflect on some ‘Brilliant Builds’

As well as catching up with favourite families, Kirstie and Phil reveal some of the famous Love It or List It methodology when it comes to tackling that life-changing build and layout dilemmas. This episode is all about putting family front and centre, as we look back at Susan and John Antoniou-Bailey’s build that involved growing and extending their household. Susan and John were torn over their unique five-bed home in Rushden, Northamptonshire.

Susan fell in love with the house at first sight and its history, original features and number of rooms have deepened her desire to stay. John had had enough of constantly moving between the disjointed, boxy rooms as well as living next to a noisy main road, and dreamt of a big social entertaining hub for them, their four kids and their extended family of 40!

Kirstie had two plans to help avoid losing any of the charm that made this house so special. Which one did John and Susan go for? And did it convince them to stay?
