
It’s the day of Kim’s sentencing and she is feeling very anxious. Howie and Denise try to reassure her, but Kim is insistent that she might go to prison. Privately, Howie tells Denise they can’t afford counselling for Kim, but she desperately needs it. Later, Denise loans him the money but her generosity puts her in the dog house with Jack.
At the court Denzel gives a statement in support of Kim. However, when CCTV footage of the crash is shown, Kim has a full-blown panic attack.
Meanwhile, Stacey and Martin fret about Lily ahead of the family conference. Martin asks Sonia to check Lily over as she has been complaining of not feeling well. Sonia finds that Lily’s blood pressure is high.
The midwife signs dismayed Lily off school until she’s given birth. Martin tries to reassure Lily that things will be ok, but she’s worried about missing out on school work and being bored at home.
Elsewhere, Elaine asks the Knight girls to be her bridesmaids, but they aren’t keen. George advises her not to push it with them, and downbeat Elaine confides in Kathy about her disappointment. After a pep talk from Kathy, Elaine decides to take the pressure off everyone by delaying her wedding plans.
Also, Lola’s loved ones gather at the salon on what would have been her 27th birthday and emotional Denise unveils a plaque on Lola’s chair, dedicated to their lost friend.

The chilli eating competition takes place in the Bistro. As the crowd roar Dev, Chesney and Shona on, Gemma reminds everyone to give generously. Later, Bernie counts the money and hands Paul £800. Paul is touched by their generosity.
Back at the flat, Billy and Bernie argue over religion versus crystals. Asserting that their constant interference isn’t helpful, Paul storms out. Having escaped to a hotel bar, Paul spots Zac, a blast from his past, and offers to buy him a drink.
Meanwhile, with Carla demanding a meeting with Seagull Ltd, Stephen begs his ex-wife Gabrielle to masquerade as a consultant from his fake company, promising to make it worth her while.
Stephen watches as Carla attends the Zoom call with Seagull. Gabrielle gives a sterling performance and it’s clear Carla is taken in. But when Sarah returns for her laptop, Stephen is thrown into panic. Is the game up?
Elsewhere, Ryan calls at the Bistro and nervously tells Leanne that he’d like to return to work. Will she agree?

Moira and Cain hear from Nicola that Nate is heading to the town hall. Fearing he’s about to do something stupid and fight for custody of Frankie, they race off to stop him.
Spotting Tracy in a wedding dress outside the registry office with an attractive man, Cain and Moira now conclude that Nate is actually planning to crash her wedding.
Cain acts decisively and kidnaps Nate before he can go inside, knocking him out in the process.
Meanwhile, Dan feels like he’s successfully warded Lloyd off when PC Swirling arrives, explaining that Lloyd has made a complaint about Dan after his threats yesterday. Swirling warns Dan not to take the law into his own hands.
Elsewhere, Victoria thinks the affair is over, but it’s still going on.
