As Vinny frets that Suki’s accident was an attempt of life, Nish shuts down the idea. At the hospital, Eve and Suki worry about the conclusions Ravi has drawn from the suitcase. Suki is discharged, leaving Eve fearful for her safety.

Mitch picks up on Eve’s concerns and begins to worry that Suki might be in the same situation as Chantelle. Alone with Suki, Eve urges her to report Nish for pushing her down the stairs.

Meanwhile, Kathy is worried about the arrangements for Lola’s wake. Rocky is keen to help but he’s interrupted by a surprise visitor – Jo.

Rocky spirits Jo away to the car lot before Kathy sees her. As Jo hands over their divorce papers, Rocky wonders why he didn’t recieve a copy in the post.

As Jo leaves, she rattles Rocky when she tells him that ‘Jasper says hello’.

Elsewhere, Elaine tries to get closer to Gina and Anna by playing matchmaker, but things go wrong when she misreads Gina’s crush.

Owen confronts Stephen over his lies. As Stephen searches for a plausible explanation, Owen tells him that once he takes over the factory, he’s fired.

Stephen tries to dissuade Carla from selling the factory, but she insists she has to for the sake of her mental health. Stephen snaps and trashes the factory floor witnessed by Michael.

Later, Elaine refuses to invest in the factory again, leaving Stephen quietly furious.

Meanwhile, Sarah and Adam confide in Audrey and Ken respectively about their marital troubles.

Elsewhere, Aggie, Sally and Dee-Dee attend Yvette’s charity auction. Under pressure from Yvette, Aggie bids £3,000 for a summerhouse, expecting to be outbid. She’s horrified when hers is the winning bid.

Also, Steve rejects Amy’s suggestion of using her inheritance from Deirdre for legal fees; Max calls Gav and confirms that he tracked down Bec.

Coronation Street, ITV1, tonight at 8pm

The Dingle Court convenes to debate Caleb.

The court is thrown on its head when the defendant himself makes a surprise appearance. Caleb is resolute that he’s staying in the village, but will it be his choice?

Meanwhile, feelings bubble as Mackenzie and Chloe return from their day trip and the pair head upstairs.
