Jay is devastated when nurse Suzanne informs him that Lola is nearing the end of her life. Billy panics about getting Lexi, Will and Janet out of the house to protect them from what’s happening.
After a few drinks, Billy has a run-in with Nish, who deliberately winds him up. Raging Billy smashes the window of the Minute Mart and has to be restrained by Phil, Martin and Honey.
Nish is unsatisfied when Phil throws money at him and demands justice. As Jack arrives to diffuse the situation, Billy accidentally hits him in the face and is arrested.
Meanwhile, Kathy, Billy and Jay are unimpressed when Callum tells them that Ben is in America.
Lola is thrilled as her friends and neighbours let her know they are thinking of her by staging a unique greeting in the Square.

As Gemma prepares for her wedding, Billy tries to persuade Paul to attend. After hearing from Joseph that Gemma has been crying, Paul apologises and all is forgiven.
In the church, the congregation watches as Paul, who’s battling his symptoms, walks Gemma down the aisle in the jaw-dropping dress of her dreams.
As the couple exchange vows to cheers from family and friends, it looks like nothing can ruin their day. But how will Bernie react when she finds out that Linda secretly funded the wedding?
In a bid to defuse the situation, Paul makes a speech, but becoming emotional he hurries out, dragging his foot. Is Gemma about to face heartbreak on her wedding day?
Meanwhile, Justin’s sister Karen calls at The Rovers, telling Daisy how sorry she is for Justin’s attack and how she hopes he’ll be sent down. Daisy is touched by her support.
Elsewhere, Freddie goes in for his operation. Nina reveals to Evelyn that Roy’s sleepwalking again as he worries about his own operation.

Meanwhile, despite a last-ditch attempt from Liam to reunite their writing partnership, Wendy upsets them both by sticking to her decision to break it off.
