Britain’s Got Talent reveals guest performers for semi-finals and final

The line-up includes Diversity, James Arthur and Axel Blake.

Britain’s Got Talent has announced its line up of guest performers taking to the stage as the 16th series draws to a close.

Across the week, 40 of the very best acts from the series will battle it out in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and the audience at home in the hope of securing their place in the grand finale.

Each night, adding to the magic of the show, will be one very special guest performance.

Diversity

On Monday, dance troupe Diversity, who won the show in 2009, will return to the BGT stage with an “energetic spectacle”.

The cast of worldwide smash-hit musical We Will Rock You will blow the roof off the Eventim Apollo on Tuesday, ahead of its return to the West End stage this summer, written and directed by Ben Elton, who will also make his stage acting debut as Rebel Leader.

The performance will also star Brenda Edwards as Killer Queen and Lee Mead as Khashoggi.

Ahead of his highly anticipated 5th album, X Factor alumnus James Arthur will perform on Wednesday’s semi-final.

On Thursday will be last year’s Britain’s Got Talent winner, comedian Axel Blake. Currently, Blake is on tour and has played 51 dates so far, with more added due to popular demand.

James Arthur

In a UK TV exclusive, ahead of performances starting at the London Palladium later in June, the cast of The Wizard of Oz will follow the yellow brick road all the way to the BGT live semi-final stage on Friday.

The brand-new production will star Diversity’s Ashley Banjo as the Tin Man, Jason Manford as The Cowardly Lion and Georgina Onuorah, who will play Dorothy.

And performing in the grand-finale on Sunday night, is the cast of iconic musical Les Misérables. Now in its record-breaking 38th year in London’s West End, the musical has been seen by over 120 million people worldwide in 53 countries and in 22 languages, making it one of the world’s most popular and contemporary musicals.

The Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals kick start on Monday 29th May at 8pm on ITV, hosted by Ant and Dec.

The grand-finale will take place on Sunday 4th June where two finalists from each semi-final will return to vie for a coveted spot at the prestigious Royal Variety Performance and a life changing £250,000 prize fund.
