St Pancras International celebrates Coronation of King Charles III

To celebrate the coronation of Charles III St Pancras station has been decorated in bunting for the occasion.

St Pancras, home of the Eurostar, East Midlands Railway, Thames Link and Southeastern, has a strong connection with The Royal Family – which they regularly use and was opened by the late Queen Elizabeth II – the station has been transformed with abundant bunting hung across The Arcade and around the stations Circle area.

Views of the glass Barlow Shed and Tracey Emin’s artwork “I want my time with you” have been transformed by the presence of the bunting. On top of that, we are encouraging people from around the world to come to the station to play on Elton John’s iconic piano from an exclusive list of Coronation songs in the lead-up to the main day!

People played patriotic songs and sang along on Sir Elton John’s piano.

With shopping fit for a King, St Pancras International is the only travel retail destination to count three Royal Warrant. On offer are exclusive, handmade limited-edition bouquets from Moyses Stevens, Coronation confectionary from Fortnum & Mason and books about King Charles III and the wider Royal Family from London’s oldest book shop, Hatchards.
